Qualifications

- Minimum educational qualification: Diploma or Certificate in a relevant technical field
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Perform installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of LV electrical systems in compliance with ST regulations.
- Carry out system wiring, preventive and corrective maintenance of switchboards, distribution boards, power outlets, lighting, cabling, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, perform repairs, and restore system functionality within minimal downtime.
- Able to work on conduit or trunking, cutting or bending or other necessary ways in order to complete the installation
2. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all electrical works comply with Electricity Supply Act 1990, IEE Wiring Regulations, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
- Maintain proper lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and safety procedures when handling live or hazardous systems.
- Conduct inspections of electrical installations and report non-compliances or hazards.
3. Facilities Support
- Support daily building operations by ensuring uninterrupted electrical supply.
- Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and electrical system upgrades.
- Provide technical support for refurbishment, renovation, or expansion projects.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Prepare reports on faults, maintenance activities, and energy usage where required.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
5. Teamwork & Coordination
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and others team mate for integrated facilities support.
- Supervise contractors and vendors carrying out electrical works on-site.
- Liaise with utility providers and authorities (e.g., TNB) for inspections or audits.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or
- Minimum Wireman PW1-4 (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- At least 1-3 years of experience in facility or maintenance (plant, factory or construction).
- Good knowledge of building services for high-rise or commercial developments
