As part of our continued expansion, Amillex is seeking a Junior Trading Desk Dealer to join our Kuala Lumpur team. This position is suitable for a fresh graduate or an early-career professional interested in financial markets, trading operations and risk management.
The successful candidate will receive training and work closely with experienced dealers to monitor trading activities, market conditions and execution across multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client trading activity and the company's exposure across Forex, metals, indices and cryptocurrency CFDs.
- Monitor trade flow, pricing and order execution across the MT4 and MT5 platforms.
- Assist senior dealers with exposure management and hedging activities involving liquidity providers.
- Monitor market news, economic events, volatility and liquidity conditions.
- Identify and escalate unusual trading patterns, execution issues and potentially high-risk trading activity.
- Assist with reviewing trade discrepancies, pricing issues and execution enquiries.
- Work closely with the Operations and IT teams to resolve trading-related issues.
- Prepare daily and weekly trading, exposure and performance reports.
- Support the maintenance of risk thresholds, internal alerts and dealing procedures.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with internal policies and risk-management guidelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- One to three years of experience in dealing, trading operations, risk management or a Forex/CFD brokerage environment would be advantageous.
- Strong interest in financial markets, including Forex, precious metals, indices and cryptocurrencies.
- Basic understanding of trading, market risk, hedging or liquidity management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with MT4, MT5 or brokerage risk-management systems is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL or business intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Able to remain calm and accurate in a fast-moving market environment.
- Strong communication and reporting skills in English.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required.
- Able and willing to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
