KBS Processing Intern
Location: KONE Elevator (M) Sdn. Bhd. - Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
Why this role
The KBS Processing Intern is an entry-level developmental role. You will support the KBS operations by learning how to handle documentation, testing, and reporting for global processes. This is an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world business service workflows within a multinational environment.
What will you be doing
- Assist in creating, maintaining (modifying, converting, extending, blocking, deleting), and administering data for Maintenance Processes, including Contract Administration, Billing, Back Reporting, and Customer Portals.
- Ensure all data input is correctly completed and check documents against company business rules, highlighting any deviations.
- Execute data entry or modifications received from the Front Office upon approval from the Process Manager.
- Contact Unit/Local Front Officers to request information or additional documentation when required.
- Support the execution of process documentation and the timely registration/processing of incoming and outgoing documents.
- Assist in daily reconciliation tasks and perform corrective actions under supervision.
- Log issues and proactively discuss or escalate them to the Team Leader communicate and follow up with local supervisors regarding problems via email or workflow tools.
- Deliver input for proper reporting and support the team in ensuring process and reporting KPIs are met with high-quality standards.
- Support and participate in process improvement activities, harmonization actions, team meetings, and process analysis.
- Undergo training to support complex processing activities and eventually act as a key user on process/application levels within the team.
- Perform other tasks as allocated by Team Leaders relating to reporting and other KBS processes.

- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance/Accounting or a relevant business background.
- Technical Interest: Eager to learn SAP and digital tools like Power Automate.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
- Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to Australian or Malaysian working hours.
Internship Requirements:
- Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: Full-time, weekday internship.
