Your opportunity

We are currently seeking a Payroll Executive to fully support all brands under the Kering Group, taking end-to-end responsibility for payroll operations across the assigned portfolio.

This role will cover geographic regions including Australia, New Zealand, and Guam, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing in line with local regulations and company standards.

How you will contribute:

A. Payroll Management

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a fortnightly basis
  • Maintain employee records including new hires, terminations, leave entitlements, superannuation/KiwiSaver, and tax declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Fair Work Act, New Zealand Holidays Act, PAYG, KiwiSaver, and other relevant employment and tax legislation.
  • Interpret and apply Modern Awards to ensure correct pay rates, allowances, and entitlements
  • Accurately calculate and process employee entitlements such as overtime, penalty rates, shift loadings, public holidays, and leave accruals, based on award conditions.
  • Prepare and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting in Australia and payday filing in New Zealand.
  • Administer statutory and voluntary deductions (e.g., FICA, garnishments, retirement plans, and group insurance premiums).
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll tax filings including IRS (941, 940, W-2, W-3) and Guam local tax reports.
  • Manage payroll service providers (vendors) and in-house payroll processing workflows; ensure payroll payments and reports are delivered consistently, accurately and on time in accordance with company policies & procedures, and in compliance with local statutory and tax requirements.
  • Provide full spectrum of payroll functions, including data collections & transmission, payroll journal entries and payroll checking in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform off cycle pay run as requested by brands.

B. Monthly Closing Report

  • Prepare monthly closing data including but not limited to payroll, accruals as requested by brand, overtime cost reports for Finance and Actual.
  • Headcount reporting.
  • Liaise with Finance on monthly accrual and payroll journal
  • Withholding tax & Deposit received management

C. Withholding Tax & Year-end tax

  • Provide accurate information on tax laws and communicate with all employees
  • Follow up and execution for year-end tax settlement
  • Execute monthly, semi-annual, yearly income tax return according to local legislation requirement.
  • Monthly tax return for part-time employees

D. Audit

  • Preparation and follow up yearly external and internal audit procedure and audit

  • Participate in interviews related to audit

E. System Management and Implementation

  • Monitor integration flow from Workday to local HRIS, such as iChris for ANZ.
  • Check for system updates in accordance with regular statutory contributions and tax law changes and request from the company.
  • Participate in the system implementation and integration projects.

F. Others

  • Handle Kering Connect tickets relating payroll enquiry from Brand HR or employees
  • Extract and report data when requested by brands (list of employees, etc.)

Who you are

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Proficient in payroll system/ SAP
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and good time management
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
