Your opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Master Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and report to the MDM Assistant Manager of Finance Shared Services Malaysia.

How you will contribute

  • Resolves service requests through the Internal Ticketing System.
  • Collect vendor information, perform the verification process, and create a SAP Vendor account by recording account information.
  • Support the Assistant Manager on the end-to-end process for master data management for FSSC and work with other regional FSSC counterparts to streamline Master data Management processes.
  • Responsible for various SAP and non-SAP master data objects such as Supplier, Customer, projects or orders, users&apos administration, etc., and ensure data synchronization with other tools (Store DB, Tririga, Esker, Concur, Workday, BlackLine, etc.).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Master Data compliance with the internal control process and requirements.
  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy, relevance, and audit trail of Kering Group Master Data, supporting process efficiency, internal control effectiveness, compliance, and production of strategic insight.
  • Ensure master data is maintained according to the data standard, control requirements, and defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform periodic audit of master data to ensure quality of master data and compliance with internal control.
  • Provide guidance and support to MDM analysts, ensuring adherence to internal controls and data governance requirements and resolving complex Master Data challenges.
  • Participate in finance transformation projects and system initiatives, contributing to the design, testing, and deployment of new MDM processes and tools.
  • Act as a key contributor in continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with team members to enhance Master Data processes and controls.
  • Any other ad-hoc assignments, from time to time.

Who you are

Technical skills and experiences:

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in accounting or in any relevant field (Information Management, Business Administration, Computer Science)
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Master Data Management MDM in a Finance Department or SSC
  • Knowledge of and experience with SAP AP/ Master Data and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data; sort, filter, pivot, summarize, error check, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of master data maintenance and its integrated impact on Finance processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of Chinese is an advantage (role supports China stakeholders)
