Your opportunity

We are currently seeking a Treasury Intern who will report to the APAC Treasury and Payment Manager. You will be supporting the Team in managing Financing, Treasury and payment topics for our activity in APAC across all brands. The position is based in Kering Malaysia Shared Service office in Petaling Jaya.

How you will contribute

Cash & Liquidity Support

• Assist in preparing daily and weekly cash position reports.
• Support liquidity forecast data compilation and analysis.
• Monitor cash pool transactions and maintain records.
• Assist in updating internal loan and banking documentation.

Banking Administration

• Support bank account maintenance and documentation filing.
• Assist in bank account opening, modification, and closure processes.
• Maintain banking records and update internal databases.
• Help monitor Electronic Bank Statements (EBS) and escalate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on banking-related requests.

Bank Signatory & Documentation Support

• Assist in preparing documents for bank signatory updates.
• Track Power of Attorney (PoA) and Board Resolution (BR) documentation.
• Support certification and filing of banking documents.
• Follow up on document submissions with relevant stakeholders.

In-Store Payment Administration

• Assist in processing requests for payment terminals and user access.
• Maintain records of payment link users and access changes.
• Support store staff with basic payment-related queries.

Bank Guarantee Support

• Maintain and update the Bank Guarantee tracking register.
• Assist in monthly reconciliation of Bank Guarantee records.
• Monitor expiry dates and prepare reminder reports.
• Support communication with brands regarding Bank Guarantee utilization.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare regular treasury and banking reports.
• Maintain accurate records and filing of treasury documents.
• Support process improvement and ad hoc treasury projects.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the Treasury team.
• Any additional operational tasks as assigned by Regional Treasury and Payment Senior Manager.

Who you are

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking and /or Investment.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in business English and ability to articulate thoughts clearly, written and verbal.
• Proactive and effective in communication
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience in create and using Microsoft Forms and Power Automate.
• The legal right to work in Malaysia
