Job Summary

The Key Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving BSV's fertility and women's health portfolio by managing strategic relationships with IVF centres, hospital fertility units, and key healthcare professionals. This role combines sales execution, scientific engagement, and business analytics to secure market leadership, strengthen customer partnerships, and deliver sustainable growth. 

Key Responsibilities

IVF Key Account Management:

  • Lead, develop, and maintain professional relationships with fertility specialists, embryologists, and O&G consultants.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans for IVF centres and hospital fertility units, ensuring flawless execution at account level.
  • Deliver scientific updates, product knowledge, and evidence-based information to healthcare professionals.
  • Secure preferred brand status within private IVF centres and hospital fertility units.
  • Drive sales performance across Klang Valley territories, ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Plan and execute structured field visits to generate demand, fulfil demand, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key accounts, aligning business objectives and ensuring execution excellence

Business Analytics & Market Insights

  • Analyse monthly sales data to identify account/territory gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs) to internal management.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, promotions, and new product launches in IVF and women's health.
  • Partner with marketing and medical teams to provide field insights for strategic planning and campaign development.
  • Track and report on account performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with regulatory, supply chain, finance, and medical affairs teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Support new product launches by coordinating with marketing and medical teams to drive adoption in key accounts.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to align local execution with broader corporate strategies.

Customer Engagement & Compliance

  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Build trust and credibility with healthcare professionals through transparent communication and scientific integrity.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for BSV, representing the company's values and mission in fertility care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales and/or key account management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare industry.
  • Experience managing key accounts such as hospitals, distributors, or pharmacy chains will be an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. • Ability to analyse sales data and develop strategic account plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications. • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
