About the Role

We are looking for a driven Key Account Executive / Manager – Modern Trade to secure and manage retail listings for our wet wipes products across pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, baby stores, and modern retail chains.

The ideal candidate should have experience selling FMCG products into modern trade channels and understand how to work with retail buyers, negotiate trading terms, manage promotions, and grow product sell-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach and build relationships with modern trade buyers.
  • Secure product listings for wet wipes across retail chains.
  • Prepare and present product proposals, pricing, trade terms, and promotion plans.
  • Negotiate listing fees, margins, rebates, payment terms, and promotional support.
  • Manage key accounts such as pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and baby product retailers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on stock availability, delivery, merchandising, and promotion execution.
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance by account.
  • Identify new retail opportunities and expand distribution coverage.
  • Conduct regular store visits to check product availability, shelf display, competitor activity, and promotion execution.
  • Provide sales forecasts, account updates, and monthly performance reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, modern trade, key account sales, or channel sales.
  • Experience selling into pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, or baby product retailers is preferred.
  • Existing buyer relationships with retailers such as Watsons, Guardian, Caring, AEON, Lotus's, Jaya Grocer, Village Grocer, Mydin, 99 Speedmart, 7-Eleven, CU, FamilyMart, or baby stores will be an advantage.
  • Experience in personal care, baby care, tissue, hygiene, household, or related FMCG categories is highly preferred.
  • Able to negotiate trading terms, listing fees, margins, promotions, and payment terms.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Result-driven, independent, and able to open new accounts.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for buyer meetings and store visits.
