Job Description

As a Key Account, you will take charge of strategic account planning, sales growth, and retail execution across key offline channels. You will manage relationships with major retail partners and distributors, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, visibility standards, and trade marketing effectiveness.


Key Responsibilitie

s1. Strategic Account Managemen

  • tExecute commercial planning and execution for assigned key accounts across modern trade (MT) and/or general trade (GT) channels
  • .Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and joint business plans to secure long-term partnerships

.2. Sales Target & Performance Managemen

  • tDevelop and track sell-in and sell-out targets to drive revenue growth
  • .Monitor sales performance and inventory health, proposing interventions where necessary

.3. Retail Execution & Visibilit

  • yWork closely with merchandising and trade marketing teams to ensure strong in-store execution, visibility, and availability of products
  • .Identify new opportunities for in-store promotions and activations

.4. Cross-Functional Collaboratio

  • nCollaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Demand Planning teams to ensure forecast accuracy, timely deliveries, and effective promotions

.5. Market & Competitor Analysi

  • sStay updated with retail market trends, competitor activities, and shopper behavior to identify new growth opportunities
  • .Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requiremen

  • tsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fiel
  • d.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or trade marketing within FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industrie
  • s.Strong negotiation, commercial planning, and relationship management skill
  • s.Proven ability to manage multiple key accounts and deliver sales result
  • s.Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skill
  • s.Familiarity with modern trade and general trade structures in the Malaysian market is a plu
  • s.Willingness to travel locally as neede
