Job Purpose:
The Key Account Manager ( Hospital ) is responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals in Malaysia. The role focuses on driving the adoption of Sun Pharma's prescription products, securing access through tender and procurement processes, and supporting healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key hospital accounts, including procurement departments, clinicians, and decision-makers.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for Sun Pharma's prescription products.
- Ensure timely and efficient product availability in hospitals and clinics.
- Provide clinical information and support to healthcare professionals to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Participate in tender processes and negotiations to secure product listings and contracts.
- Monitor healthcare trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
- Work closely with medical affairs, regulatory, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on account activities, sales performance, and market insights for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales within the hospital or institutional sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian healthcare system, hospital procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
