JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with the customer, ensuring their technical needs are met and driving customer satisfaction and retention. Thus, it requires a combination of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset to drive revenue growth. Understand client's technical requirements, production goal, and challenges related gravure printings.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead and manage dedicated product line, responsible for the full execution of commercial activities. Manage headcounts of Customer Services to meet customer delivery on timely basis. Ensure successfully achieve the quality, delivery, sales (both budget and forecast) and profit targets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve sales revenue and volume targets (B2B / key accounts)
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular calls, emails, and visits.
- Act as the main customer contact, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
- Bridge customers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate customer requirements and feedback to internal teams.
- Manage projects and coordinate Sales, Repro, Production, and Logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor product development and actively engage in new projects to drive business growth.
- Focus to develop new Business Development to increase sales revenue and support upside of business
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage customer credit
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and market intelligence
- Support execution of go-to-market strategies aligned with Head of Sales
REQUIREMENTS: (Kindly apply only if you meet the first 3 criteria)
- Malaysian applicants based in Ipoh or open to relocation to Ipoh are preferred.
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG or related industries (e.g., paper or plastic printing, rotogravure cylinder making, packaging, or ink manufacturing) is required.
- Experience in key account management, business development, or industrial sales is an advantage
- Good command of English (written & spoken)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Ability to understand production processes and workflow
- Proficient in sales reporting and account management
