We are seeking an experienced
Key Account Manager to manage and grow our clients key distribution partnerships within the livestock sector of the Animal Health industry. This role is crucial for driving profitable growth, maximizing product availability, and achieving sales targets. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and reporting to the Country Manager.
What You'll Do
- Partnership & Sales Growth: Build strong, long-term relationships with distributor management and sales teams to create and execute joint business plans, ensuring growth and product reach.
- Strategy & Performance: Negotiate annual agreements, targets, and promotions. Monitor distributor performance and execution.
- Support & Insight: Train distributor teams on products and selling approaches. Use market data and distributor insights to guide planning and improve forecasting.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years experience managing distributors or key accounts.
- Demonstrated strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Preferably, experience in the Animal Health (livestock) industry in Malaysia.
- High level of accountability and the ability to travel as required.
- Good written and spoken English.
