Position: Key Account Manager (Merchant Partnerships)

Working Duration: 12 months contract
Working Location: 1, First Avenue, Petaling Jaya, 47800, Selangor
Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday; 10am – 7pm.
Salary: Basic up to RM3,400 (Based on experience + skills) with quarterly incentive + statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance

The Critical Tasks You will Perform
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to foster and grow merchant relationships through consistent engagement at the managerial level.
- Collaborate with merchants on funded promotional programs, partnerships, new products, and feature launches, while identifying opportunities to upsell PayLater and loyalty solutions.
- Identify issues affecting merchants, including settlement discrepancies and technical challenges, and propose well-thought-out solutions to address them effectively.
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with key merchants to improve business performance and strengthen long-term collaboration.
- Analyze data and develop strategic initiatives to increase revenue and profitability within the assigned portfolio, aligned with overall business targets.
- Evaluate competitor activities and market insights to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for effective category management.
- Review and manage payment and loyalty-related support tickets from non-account-managed merchants to ensure timely resolution and service quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience in account management, sales, or similar role
- Good communication and relationship management skills
- Basic data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
