Sun Pharma is the world's fourth-largest specialty generic pharmaceutical company and a trusted leader in Primary Care and Consumer Healthcare. We are expanding our commercial team in Malaysia and are looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead our Chain Pharmacy business.
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager (Pharma) – Chain Pharmacy, you will be responsible for managing and growing Sun Pharma's business with Major Chain Pharmacy Partners. This role is critical in driving sales performance, strengthening strategic partnerships, and executing impactful commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned chain pharmacy key accounts across Malaysia
- Develop and execute strategic account business plans to deliver sales, market share, and profitability targets
- Lead negotiations on commercial agreements, promotions, listings, and launches
- Drive effective execution and activation programs
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at HQ
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, distribution, and stock availability
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Medical, and Field teams
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- 5–8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 1-2 years managing chain pharmacy.
- Strong track record in key account management and commercial negotiations
- Experience in Primary Care, or Consumer Healthcare is an advantage
