Job Description

We are working with a mobile distributor partnering with top global brands and major mobile network operators. We focus on delivering innovative mobility solutions, excellent channel support, and strong commercial partnerships across the region.

We are now looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth and strengthen strategic relationships with mobile operators.

Job Responsibilities

1. Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with assigned mobile operator accounts (e.g., Maxis, CelcomDigi, U Mobile, etc.).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the operator's business model, sales channels, and commercial priorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial, operational, and promotional matters.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sell-in and sell-out performance to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Work closely with operators to plan product ranging, pricing strategies, volume forecasts, and promotional campaigns.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase market share and device penetration within the operator ecosystem.

3. Business Planning & Negotiation

  • Lead annual business planning, quarterly reviews, and commercial negotiations with mobile operators.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, marketing plans, sales forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Manage rebates, incentives, and commercial terms to ensure profitability and long-term partnership growth.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance, logistics, product) to ensure smooth execution of operator programs and product launches.
  • Coordinate with marketing on co-funded campaigns and visibility initiatives.
  • Liaise with supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time delivery.

5. Market & Competitive Insights

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, device performance, and market dynamics related to mobile operators.
  • Provide regular insights to management and recommend strategies to maintain competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in account management, preferably with mobile operators or telecommunications companies.
  • Solid understanding of mobile operator business (postpaid, prepaid, bundling, subsidies, roadmap planning).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
