Job Description

  • Take full responsibility for developing, nurturing, and maintaining long-term relationships with prospective clients across the transportation sector-including road, rail, aviation, and seaports-while actively engaging key stakeholders at every organizational level to drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by understanding the complex operational needs of major transportation accounts, using your expertise in mobility solutions, infrastructure, and smart transportation systems to position Schneider Electric as a trusted partner.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to end users in the transportation industry by applying deep knowledge of Schneider Electric's product portfolio, competitor landscape, and customer requirements to support clients in meeting their sustainability, operational excellence, and expansion goals.
  • Build and manage a strong project pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities within targeted customers and regions, ensuring Schneider Electric's solutions are effectively introduced and integrated to maximize value and market presence.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative, tailored solutions that reflect evolving transportation trends and regulatory demands.

The Successful Applicant


A Successful Key Account Manager (KAM) Should Have

  • A minimum of eight years experience in sales and account management - preferably within the transportation sector - with a strong record of building and managing strategic client relationships.
  • Deep expertise in energy management architecture for transportation environments such as stations, terminals, fleets, and logistics hubs, with the ability to convert technical understanding into practical business strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation customer profiles, including their operational challenges, sustainability priorities, and market dynamics.
  • Proven capability to uncover and seize new business opportunities while maximizing value for existing clients through proactive account management and solution-based selling.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to the fast-paced and rapidly evolving transportation industry.
