Job Summary:
The Key Account Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the growth of Borong Malaysia's key enterprise accounts within the marketing ecosystem. This role will manage strategic relationships, develop revenue growth plans, and ensure best-in-class execution of marketing and commercial initiatives across key clients. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging data, insights, and Borong's platform capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes, while maximizing account value and long-term partnerships.
Key Accountabilities:
Account Management & Growth
- Own and manage a portfolio of key enterprise accounts, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Borong Malaysia's marketing and commercial objectives.
- Identify and drive up-sell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities within existing accounts to maximize share of wallet.
- Lead business reviews and performance discussions with key stakeholders.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all client-related matters.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
Marketing & Commercial Strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Data, Operations) to design and deliver customized solutions.
- Drive execution of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and digital initiatives.
- Provide strategic input on campaign effectiveness, ROI, and optimization.
Market & Category Insights
- Develop strong understanding of shopper behavior, category trends, and competitive landscape.
- Monitor competitor activities, promotional trends, and pricing strategies.
- Recommend data-driven promotional strategies and evaluate marketing investments.
Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead end-to-end execution across internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal deliverables.
- Drive structured problem-solving approaches across teams.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Track and report on account performance, including revenue, margins, and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare forecasts, business reviews, and strategic presentations.
Negotiation & Commercial Management
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Ensure all contractual obligations and timelines are met.
- Manage budgets and promotional investments.
Position Specifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales , Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Key Account Management Sales , preferably within retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or digital platforms.
- Proven track record in managing enterprise or strategic accounts.
