KHMER-English Language Interpreter Role (WFH)

Position Details

* Employment Type: Independent Contractor (ICA) – Full-Time 

* Policies under ICA:

– Leave can be applied but must be replaced in terms of working hours

– Public Holidays are not applicable

* Work Arrangement: 100% Work From Home

* Training: 3-week apprenticeship to familiarize you with call industry terminology and procedures

• Location: Cambodia, Thailand , Singapore, Vietnam (fixed remote location)

• Shift: Night shift only (rotating monthly)

Salary & Incentives

• Base Pay: RM22 per productivity hour

o Optional overtime: RM22/hour

Job Highlights

• High Call Volume: Back to back calls during the shift

• Industry Coverage: Healthcare, legal, banking, insurance, emergency services (911), and more

• Role Responsibilities: Provide consecutive interpretation between Khmer

and English until the conversation is complete

Work Schedule

• START TIME different every month ranging from 7pm up until 1am (team leader will choose your start time). 8 working hours with one break hour in between.

• For example : 12am - 9am (1hour break in between)

• 1am - 10am (1 hour break) Each shift includes 8 productivity hours + 1-hour break (rest time may vary)

• 5-day workweek with 2 off days (which may fall on weekdays or weekends)

• Schedule is provided 2 weeks in advance

Requirements

• Proficiency in English + Khmer

• No prior interpreter experience required – full training provided

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

• Must use own laptop or phone (Non-Huawei device) & fibre network connection
