Job Description

Job Title: KOL Marketing & Branding Specialist

Location: KL Gateway Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels, making sure the brand voice and look are always consistent.
  • Lead the way in partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers to create cool, relevant brand content together.
  • Plan and run all sorts of brand events (online and in-person), activations, and fun experiences designed to connect emotionally with our main audience.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and outside vendors to get impactful brand projects done, managing everything from the first idea to the final rollout.
  • Keep a close eye on the market, audience insights, and what competitors are doing to spot new chances to boost brand visibility and stand out.
  • Oversee the creation and production of compelling brand stories, top-notch visuals, and essential promotional materials.
  • Set clear KPIs and track ROI to systematically measure how well campaigns and events are doing, then use that data to constantly make our strategy better.
  • Smartly manage budgets and resources to get the biggest brand impact possible from all required projects.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of solid experience in brand management, working with influencers/KOLs, running campaigns, or planning professional events.
  • Must be great at both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent writing and speaking skills in both. Being able to communicate well in Mandarin is essential for dealing with our Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Need a deep understanding of current digital and social media trends; experience in the family or education sectors is a bonus.
  • Proven track record of successfully organizing and running events or brand activations, from the very first plan through to detailed post-event reporting.
  • You should be creative and innovative, with good strategic thinking and strong storytelling skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and proven ability to work well with different teams.
