Description:
We are seeking a Senior Associate in Network & Security within KPMG's Technology Risk & Cyber Consulting practice. In this role, you will help safeguard clients digital environments by assessing, designing and enhancing network security controls. You will also stay current with emerging cyber threats and hacker methodologies to proactively identify vulnerabilities and anticipate potential security breaches, ensuring clients maintain a resilient and secure technology landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Public Cloud services across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, as well as Software‑Defined Networking technologies such as Cisco ACI and VMware NSX.
- Plan, design, implement and troubleshoot multiprotocol networks across Network, Security, and Cloud domains in a consulting capacity.
- Perform network configuration reviews using assessment tools such as Nipper and Nessus.
- Conduct assessment, implementation and remediation of Minimum Baseline Security Standards across Network and Security infrastructures.
- Apply solid understanding of network routing protocols and principles.
- Administer LAN and WAN infrastructure, including installation and commissioning of Internet and Intranet setups using routers, switches and technologies such as Cisco ACI.
- Work with multi‑vendor enterprise and service provider security infrastructures, including load balancers, firewalls, IPS, proxies, WAF, and threat/malware analysis tools.
- Understand regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks such as BNM RMiT (June 2023), NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and ISO 27001:2022.
- Prepare proposal documents, including technical approaches and methodologies, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams for RFP/RFI response

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or an equivalent field.
- 3–4 years of experience in Network, Security, or related IT functions.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with solid project management capabilities.
- Demonstrated soft skills, including teamwork, collaboration and professionalism.
Preferred Certifications:
- Information Security Certifications: ISO 27001:2022 or equivalent.
- Technical & Network Security Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft cloud and security certifications such as AZ‑900, SC‑900, AZ‑500.
