About The Role

We are seeking a KYB Periodic Review Analyst on a contract basis to support the periodic review of existing business customer files.

This is a project-based role focused on reviewing and updating existing KYB (Know Your Business) records to ensure they meet current regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will conduct detailed KYB reviews, identify information gaps, assess customer and business information, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure files are complete, accurate, and compliant.

Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel are essential for maintaining trackers, preparing reports, monitoring review progress, and supporting overall project execution. Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage, particularly when reviewing or handling business information and documentation involving Mandarin-speaking customers or stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the review of client files during periodic KYC reviews, including gathering and verifying key information such as ownership structure, business activities, and risk factors.
• Supporting the assessment of client documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Conducting name screening and basic due diligence searches using internal and external tools.
• Liaising with internal teams to obtain missing or additional client information where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely updates to client profiles in accordance with company procedures.
• Assisting with ad-hoc compliance projects, data clean-up exercises, and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Group Head or Team Lead.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year in a client onboarding/KYC environment with periodic review experience, ideally from Start up, Banking, non-banking financial services or other regulated industries
• Able to link diverse information to build a full picture and spot inconsistencies
• Good team player and able to cope well under pressure, meet deadlines and willingness to handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned
• Good communications skills, hands on, independent and proactive
• Dynamic thinking and highly adaptable to constantly changing environment and possess a positive working attitude
• Mandarin-speaking proficiency is an added advantage, with the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and review or understand Mandarin-language business/customer information where required.
