This is a full-time, hybrid position for an L1 Chargeman based in Kuching, reporting to Star Bituwah Services Sdn Bhd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing all technical aspects related to Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and industrial battery systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise maintenance and installation teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Direct and execute the installation, testing, repair, and commissioning of UPS and industrial battery equipment.
- Maintain peak operational efficiency of power systems through rigorous inspection and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures during all operations.
- Serve as a primary communication point between technical teams and stakeholders to guarantee seamless project execution and immediate issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Valid L1 Chargeman Certification is required.
- Leadership & Management: Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate technical teams to achieve operational targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in general maintenance, upkeep, and complex repair work, specifically concerning power systems.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Safety Focus: Demonstrated commitment to upholding stringent safety standards and operational regulations in all daily activities.
- Flexibility: Proven ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote tasks with necessary on-site supervision in Kuching.
- Advantageous: Technical certification or relevant vocational training in electrical or power systems is a strong plus.
