About the Role
We are seeking a Network L2 Operations Engineer / SME to join a leading organization in Kuala Lumpur. This role is perfect for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in network operations who want to step into an SME capacity.
You will:
- Handle incident escalations, RCA, and SLA/KPI governance
- Support daily operations calls, outage management, and preventive actions
- Drive service improvements, automation initiatives, and compliance readiness
- Collaborate with L1 teams, OEM vendors, and L3 engineers
- Act as a subject matter expert to mentor junior staff
Requirements
- 3–5 years in Network L2 / NOC operations
- Strong troubleshooting skills (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, MikroTik)
- Hands‑on with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, HPSM, JIRA)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, SLA/KPI management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable with on‑call support and WFO in Kuala Lumpur
