Purpose of Role
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team. He/she will be responsible for planning & managing for laboratory classes in school.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratories.
- Enforce the laboratory policies and procedures such as laboratory safety requirements.
- Enforce the waste disposal procedures.
- Responsible for the purchase of laboratory equipments, chemicals and materials.
- Responsible for the regular maintenance of the equipment and infrastructure in the laboratories.
- To assist in lab demonstration and guide students during the laboratory classes.
- To assist in laboratory related sessions.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Possess at least a relevant Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years experience preferable with experience in an international school
- Patient, responsible and passionate
- A team player and flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Computer literate with good interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
