Duties & Responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in science, food technology, chemistry, or related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literacy (e.g., basic Excel, data entry systems).
Job Requirements
- Prepare and label samples for testing as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine laboratory tests (e.g., moisture, pH, microbiological, or chemical analysis depending on industry).
- Maintain accurate records of test results and report abnormalities to supervisors.
- Assist in the calibration and cleaning of lab equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and report needs for replenishment.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols in the laboratory.
- Support R&D team in testing new products and improve existing products shelf life extension
