JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Science, Polymer Science, Chemical or equivalent, with 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a technical capacity, knowledge in testing methods or glove application.
- This role is intended for SPM/Diploma-level candidates only. Degree-level qualifications are not required for this role.
- Good communication and inter-personal skill.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume and pressured environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are available to commence work immediately or who are able to commence employment at short notice.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Provide support in ensuring the quality and performance of develop products are meeting existing and potential customers in order to maintain established business and support business growth strategy to achieve targeted company profit and turnover.
- To provide support to ensure smooth running of the operations in R&D laboratory.
- Monitor all the quality related of new / existing products and work closely with involved departments for product preparation, monitoring process / product enhancement and minimize quality defects.
- To provide support for the smooth running of R&D laboratories daily operation. Ensure all laboratory items e.g. chemical glassware, calibration item, lab equipment, lab ware, other laboratory utensils, etc. are sufficient, properly-handled, under control (no wastage) and in good condition.
- To conduct stability monitoring & fluid property checking on materials and new / existing products (solid content, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, etc.) in accordance with the standard test method stipulated and to highlight abnormalities or off-spec cases to the superior immediately.
- To prepare sample (blending) to the customer as well as sample for R&D in house study. Involve in R&D screening test, R&D projects and related dipping procedure as and where applicable.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Focus, accomplish and report the product development project assigned to meet the department objectives as well as CCM Polymers growth targets. Ensure sufficient and appropriate quality and application performance evaluation was carried out prior to product launching.
- Assist in monitoring new product quality and performance achieved by the internal customer, targeted customer and market segment.
- Working together with the involved department by assisting project team for the assigned product development projects.
