Laboratory Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical, reliability, and product performance testing.
• Develop test procedures, analyze test results, and prepare technical reports.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Perform static and dynamic measurements, fatigue testing, and failure analysis.
• Operate testing equipment such as MTS and Instron systems.
• Generate 2D/3D drawings for test fixtures using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Ensure testing activities comply with ISO, ASTM, SAE, and JIS standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a testing laboratory or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical testing, product validation, and laboratory equipment.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, performing engineering calculations, and analyzing test data.
• Experience using CMM, profile projector, microscope, calipers, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with MTS/Instron testing systems and international testing standards is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
