Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Penang, Malaysia for a Laptop Repair Expert. The role involves diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues in laptops, replacing faulty or damaged components, and conducting performance testing to ensure functionality. Additionally, the expert will document repair processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. Working closely with the technical team, the Laptop Repair Expert will contribute to delivering high-quality service to customers efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hardware issues, including experience with component replacement and soldering.
• Strong understanding of software troubleshooting, operating systems installation, and driver updates.
• Experience with performance testing, quality control processes, and equipment handling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for identifying repair solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to document repairs and provide updates.
• Basic knowledge of ESD procedures and safety protocols in handling electronic devices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Relevant technical certifications or a diploma in electronics, IT, or related fields is advantageous.
