Job Title: Lead Analyst Investment IT (Aladdin Support)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Experience Required: 23 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Analyst Investment IT to provide L2 BAU support for the Aladdin investment platform across the APAC region. The role is responsible for ensuring stable system operations, resolving incidents within SLA, and supporting end users in maximizing the platform's capabilities.

You will collaborate with regional teams to maintain system reliability, support investment technology initiatives, and ensure adherence to IT governance, service management practices, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support (Aladdin)

  • Provide day-to-day Level 2 (L2) BAU support for the Aladdin investment platform.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve Aladdin-related incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Log and track incidents accurately, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding incidents and service tickets until completion.
  • Ensure solutions and configurations remain aligned with regional templates and standards.

User Support & System Adoption

  • Provide end-user support and guidance on Aladdin system usage.
  • Act as an Aladdin platform ambassador, improving user proficiency across the organization.
  • Communicate clearly with users regarding ticket updates, resolutions, and system issues.

Incident & Service Management

  • Support major incidents (Severity 1 & 2) and assist in resolution when required.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL-based IT service management practices, including:
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, including SOPs and operational handbooks.

Project & Regional Support

  • Participate in regional IT projects and initiatives involving Aladdin.
  • Support system integration activities and contribute to efficient service delivery across APAC.
  • Assist the Team Manager with assigned operational or project tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 23 years of experience in application or system support in a regional environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Aladdin investment platform solutions.
  • Experience providing user support and troubleshooting within enterprise IT environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes.

Certifications

Preferred certifications include:

  • Aladdin Certification
  • ITIL Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
