Job Description

As an EA Governance Analyst, you'll sit at the heart of how enterprise architecture decisions are made, tracked, and delivered across the Group. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and ensuring that governance enables progress and not slows it down.

You'll support day‑to‑day EA governance operations by orchestrating governance forums, capturing decisions and actions, and administering the governance platform to triage and track architectural requests. Governance Forums & Decision Traceability

  • Organize and run Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Architecture Review Board (ARB) governance forums, including agenda planning, materials preparation, and logistics coordination.
  • Capture and maintain clear records of architectural decisions, actions, and ownership, ensuring end‑to‑end traceability.
  • Apply an Evaluate–Direct–Monitor approach to ensure effective follow‑through, escalation, and clarity of decision rights and RACI with stakeholders.

Governance System & Request Intake Management

  • Administer the EA governance and request intake system, including triage, routing, prioritization, and SLA tracking.
  • Maintain change and request calendars, coordinating with change authorities where required to ensure timely approvals and full audit traceability.

Application & Technology Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date Application and Technology inventories, reconciling data with discovery and APM sources.
  • Identify and flag duplicates, orphaned applications, and end‑of‑life technologies.
  • Enforce metadata standards including ownership, lifecycle status, criticality, and cost/usage information.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Coordination

  • Coordinate the annual ALM cycle, supporting decisions to retain, modernize, consolidate, or retire applications.
  • Align ALM outcomes with decommissioning runbooks, data‑retention requirements, and closure tracking.

EA Reporting, Tracking & Insights

  • Support tracking of EA initiatives, including plans, schedules, RAID items, and budget or variance monitoring.
  • Prepare dashboards and leadership‑ready reporting packs covering KPIs, risk exposure, key decisions, and progress trends.
  • Ensure reporting aligns with governance and management objectives, including transparency, risk reduction, and resource optimization.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or professional chartered qualifications in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or Markets (CA, CB, CFA, CMT) are a strength.
  • IT Governance certifications such as PMP, Prince2, TOGAF are beneficial
  • Experience in service management practices such as COBIT/ITIL is advantageous
  • Proficiency in productivity/visualization tools such as Excel/Power BI, Confluence/Jira are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting EA governance operations, including organizing forums, capturing decisions/actions, maintaining governance logs/calendars, and preparing leadership packs.
  • Strong coordination and follow‑through skills, able to work with architects and delivery teams across countries/domains to drive timely closure of actions and exceptions.
  • Proficiency managing application and technology inventories, ensuring data quality, lifecycle tagging, and reconciliation across systems; familiarity with APM/ALM concepts.
  • Experience coordinating Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) reviews, tracking modernize outcomes and assembling audit‑ready evidence.
  • Solid project management fundamentals, including plan/schedule management, RAID tracking, KPI/dashboards, and basic budgeting/variance reporting for EA initiatives
