Function
The Commercial function forms an integral part of Robert Walters Outsourcing and which supports in ensuring the commercial stability of our business. The team acts as a vital partner for both new business pursuits and the current client portfolio, consulting in commercial elements such as pricing, cost modelling and strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Leading the commercial workstream (EMEA): Lead the commercial workstream for our largest and most technical new business opportunities within EMEA;
- Subject matter expert for our Operations team: A subject matter expert for our Operations team across our current client portfolio, running financial analysis and cost models for substantive changes in our service
- Lead commercial negotiations with clients: Act as the lead on key commercial negotiations, and work with our Legal team to ensure contracts are commercially robust;
- Strategic Projects: Act as a subject matter expert on key strategic projects from location strategy through to new product and service offerings;
- Profit maximisation: Offer ideas and concepts which can be implemented practically to further drive the profitability of our accounts.
Technical Skills
Required skills & experience:
- Strong numerical skills;
- Strong MS Excel and financial modelling skills;
- Excellent ability to problem solve, critically think, and understand complex problems;
- Ability to analyse, establish patterns in data sets and provide key insights
Soft Skills
- High level of business and commercial acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders from CEO / CFO through to Heads of department
