They are looking to hire a Lead Engineer (Electrical), a Subject Matter Expert who is the critical point of contact for customers needs to achieve maximized customer satisfaction, overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of cutting-edge of mission-critical Data Transmission infrastructure facility, ensuring ensures that all electrical distribution and protection systems meet stringent engineering and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project managers in the design and construction phases, ensuring site management, quality control, and HSE compliance.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
• Review, verify, and approve design documentation, ensuring all engineering calculations are complete.
• Liaise with design consultants, contractors, and vendors to deliver all project requirements on time.
• Maintain and uphold internal engineering standards, with a focus on electrical distribution and protection systems.
• Manage commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover activities for electrical systems.
• Contribute to internal engineering design and development initiatives.
• Develop and implement engineering and operational procedures aligned with company standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Power or Building Services Engineering; Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Uptime Institute/TIA certifications advantageous.
• Minimum 6 years experience in electrical/power design for high-voltage substations (33kV/132kV/275kV), preferably with data centre project delivery exposure.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV distribution systems, data centre projects, and protection studies.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with mechanical HVAC design software such as IES is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, or Malay is an advantage.
• Familiarity with local utility/authority regulations and procedures (e.g., TNB) preferred.
