This is a role for someone who wants to go beyond writing code. You will shape how technology drives the future of our brands, from personalization and predictive analytics to scalable data platforms, while working with a modern stack that includes Flutter, Laravel, AWS, Firebase, and MySQL
What You Will Do
- Define and lead the technical strategy and architecture across mobile, backend, infrastructure, and integrations.
- Lead backend development and systems that connect across our app, websites, and POS systems, and internal tools, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Own and optimize our AWS cloud environment for high-volume, production- grade systems.
- Build the foundation for data consolidation, designing pipelines that power advanced analytics, AI-driven personalization, and predictive features.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices across CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and security.
- Drive technical decisions, resolve architectural challenges, and ensure high standards of code quality across the team.
- Provide technical oversight for third-party vendor integrations and ensure delivery stays on track.
- Mentor engineers, lead hiring efforts, and actively shape team culture as we grow.
- Partner with product and business teams to translate ideas into scalable, well-executed solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively evaluate how they can benefit our stack
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in backend systems (Laravel, PHP, MySQL).
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and managing distributed, high-volume systems.
- Solid understanding of mobile platforms (Flutter, Firebase) and deployment workflows.
- Experience designing system integrations across POS, payments, and third-party APIs.
- Track record of building or scaling data pipelines for analytics or AI use cases.
- Proven leadership in mentoring engineers, driving code quality, and setting engineering standards.
- Comfortable navigating both technical depth and business conversations, you can speak to a developer and a stakeholder in the same meeting.
