Role Overview:
As theSenior Manager, BI & Insights Analytics, you will lead and inspire a team of Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and BI/Visualization Developers. You'll champion the development, standardization, and adoption of advanced BI and GenBI solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across multiple markets in APAC. You'll work closely with business and technology stakeholders, shaping our analytics agenda and expanding our capabilities from traditional BI into the exciting world of AI and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing BI squads, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and continuous learning culture.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, automated, and business-aligned BI dashboards, reports, and GenBI solutions across the region.
- Engage stakeholders across Business functions, Data & Analytics, Risk, and Technology to capture requirements and deliver impactful analytical outcomes.
- Drive the adoption of self-service analytics and GenBI tools, empowering business users to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Solve complex business problems using a mix of BI tools, automation, and emerging AI techniques, including generative AI and intelligent agents.
- Champion the simplification, standardization, and automation of BI processes, identifying and eliminating redundant manual reporting.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained across all BI solutions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for BI adoption, solution performance, and business impact.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging user feedback and analytics to enhance BI solutions and processes.
- Collaborate with IT, Data Engineering, and GenBI platform teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of BI tools.
- Support training, change management, and communication activities to maximize user engagement and successful rollout of new BI capabilities.
Job Requirement:
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, insights generation, or analytics leadership roles, ideally in a multi-market or regional context.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) and SQL; exposure to Python and interest in AI/ML and GenBI technologies (e.g., PowerBI Copilot, Snowflake Cortex) is highly desirable.
- Strong Agile delivery experience, including management of squads through Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog refinement, iterative delivery, and QBR (Quarterly Business Review) processes.
- Proven experience in data analytics product ownership, with a solid understanding of product lifecycle, user needs assessment, backlog management, and training/adoption strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills; able to build and maintain collaborative networks.
- High attention to detail, with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and driven approach to problem-solving and delivery.
- A continuous learning mindset with a passion for exploring new tools, methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
