Get to know the Team:

This is a brand new team formed to support our digital bank. You will be joining the Security Operations team to manage and oversee the execution of security and intelligence operations, programs and projects for the region.

Get to know the Role:

• Build, lead and manage the in-house security & intelligence operations team.
• Support regional ad-hoc/project-based initiatives in execution.
• Identify, record, escalate and maintain project and self identified risk register.
• Analyse and identify gaps for in-region execution of processes and controls with CISO functional teams; ensure remediation of any control gaps linked to in-region execution.
• Ensure standards and processes are upheld and clearly defined to deliver business benefits.
• Provide regular management updates on actions plans aligned to strategic goals.

The must haves:

• Minimum of 5 years of operational team management experience.
• Strong technical background in cloud, digital infrastructure and security concepts is desired.
• Good understanding of security & intelligence operations programs implemented in a regional model.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
• Experience in managing security and intelligence operations such as threat detection, threat intelligence, data theft, user behavioural analysis and detection engineering.
• Experience fronting audit and regulatory bodies specific to the security and intelligence operations domain.
• Experience in managing security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR & TIP.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP or SANS GIAC are advantageous.
