Team Lead Healthcare Systems

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Technical Team Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare systems. In this role, you will lead a team of developers while ensuring timely project delivery, system reliability, and full alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture design and development using Java Spring Boot 3.1 and Next.js to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
- Provide technical leadership including code reviews, solution design, and enforcement of development standards and best practices
- Manage, mentor, and coach team members with a focus on performance monitoring, guidance, and capability development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
- Plan, manage, and monitor sprint activities to ensure project timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture with strong emphasis on security and performance
- Ensure frontend applications are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with UI/UX standards
- Oversee database design, optimisation, and performance tuning for PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployment, and system monitoring
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage incident resolution, and ensure system uptime and reliability
- Identify technical risks and dependencies, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in software development
- Minimum 2 to 3 years in a technical leadership or senior role
- Experience in an ICT service provider or healthcare systems environment is an added advantage
- Frontend: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, React.js, React PDF
- Backend: Java Spring Boot, JDK v17 and above, JWT
- Database: PostgreSQL v16.3 and above, MongoDB v7.0.14
- Proficient in writing advanced native queries
- Experience with cloud technology stacks
