About the Job
To support the Senior Learning and Development Specialist in development, implementation and facilitation of training as well as to oversee training needs and administrative support of staff from Great Eastern General Malaysia (GEGM).
- Be the Learning Partner for GEGM and other relevant business units, by identifying learning needs, providing consultation on learning matters and implementing learning initiatives to meet business objectives.
- Monitor financial outflow against allocated budgets and forecasts, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Ensure internal and external business reporting and processes (such as BNM reporting and HRDC processing) are completed in a timely manner.
- Establish and update key processes, procedures and workflows to ensure process efficiency and effective internal controls.
- Curate eLearning content and/or bite-sized learning as assigned.
- Deliver and facilitate training workshops when required.
- Source, evaluate, and recommend external training providers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Drive the implementation of training strategies of the organisation and ensure process improvement initiatives are implemented to ensure overall effectiveness of learning content and processes.
We are looking for people with
- A degree in HR Management, Social Science, Psychology, Human Development or related discipline, or general degree. Having MBA or master's degree in Human Development / HRM / LOMA / FLMI is a plus.
- At least 2 to 3 years of training experience is preferred.
- Professional certification such as Certified Training Professional (CTP), Certified NLP, Certified Coaches and/or Registered Financial Planner (RFP) are preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written & spoken).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Relevant computer skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good presentation and facilitation skills.
- Good business acumen and knowledge on L&D best practices.
- Sound knowledge of the Insurance Industry.
- Good knowledge of Training / Development tools.
