About The Job
- Proactively source new tenants, brands, and retail concepts: cold outreach, networking, and scouting new F&B/retail operators.
- Build and manage the leasing pipeline: leads, site visits, negotiation, and signing.
- Handle tenant renewals and minimise vacancies.
- Keep up with retail trends, competitor malls, and rental benchmarks.
- Plan and execute 3-4 themed events per year end-to-end: concept, budget, sponsors, vendors, tenant participation, on-ground execution, and post-event reporting.
- Manage on-site execution during events (mostly weekends) with direct accountability for event success.
- Source sponsorships and partnerships to offset event costs.
- Support the Mall Manager and Director on commercial initiatives, including monthly reporting on leasing pipelines and events.
Skills And Experience Required
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field.
- Extensive experience in retail leasing, mall marketing/events, or retail business development.
- Proven track record of closing tenancy deals and running events end-to-end.
- Passionate about events and retail - actively following new concepts and brands.
- Hands-on, independent, and self-directed; takes initiative without waiting for instructions.
- Ambition to be groomed into a Mall Manager role within 6 to 12 months.
