The Manager, Leasing/Assistant Manager, Leasing is responsible for supporting the company's outlet expansion through effective leasing management, site acquisition, and negotiation of commercial spaces. This role ensures strategic location selection, cost-effective lease agreements, and strong relationships with landlords and property stakeholders to support business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, Property Management, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate (F&B/retail industry preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good understanding of tenancy agreements and commercial leasing practices
- Ability to conduct market research and feasibility analysis
- Strong networking and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willing to travel for site visits and negotiations
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential locations for new outlets based on market potential and business requirements
- Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and market analysis for expansion opportunities
- Negotiate lease terms, rental rates, and tenancy agreements with landlords and property agents
- Manage end-to-end leasing process including documentation, approvals, and tenancy execution
- Maintain and update a database of potential and existing outlet locations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, shopping mall management, and property agents
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Finance, Legal, Expansion) for lease approvals and outlet setup
- Monitor lease renewals, rental escalations, and tenancy compliance
- Ensure all leasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements
- Support budgeting and cost analysis for rental and occupancy expenses
- Provide regular reports and updates on leasing pipeline and expansion progress
