Location: Muar, Johor
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients or account managers to understand business objectives and requirements.
- Translate client needs into innovative concepts and practical design solutions.
- Estimate timelines, costs, and prepare quotations.
- Develop design briefs by gathering information and conducting research.
- Generate new ideas and concepts creatively while ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Review and proofread design work for accuracy.
- Demonstrate strong illustrative skills with sketches and design tools.
- Stay updated on design software and emerging technologies (Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Studio, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.).
- Calculate raw leather material requirements using advanced plotter machines.
- Supervise and monitor workers operating US-imported leather cutting machines.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields.
- Prior experience in furniture manufacturing or leather industry is an advantage.
- Strong creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design software and familiarity with advanced machinery.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
