Job Description

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics
  • Masters's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics OR/AND Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Candidates with a PhD in a relevant field will have an added advantage.
  • Preferably with 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a higher education institution.
  • Industry experience in logistics, supply chain management, procurement, warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, or general management is an added advantage.
  • Experience in curriculum development, assessment design, and academic administration is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to delivering high-quality education and learning experiences to students.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS), with good report writing and documentation skills.
  • Professional, self-motivated, and responsible, with the ability to work independently and committed to continuous improvement.

Preferred Certifications (Optional)

  • Professional certifications in logistics and supply chain management (e.g., CILT, APICS/ASCM, CIPS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies is preferred.

Job Descriptions
  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for certificate and Diploma programmes.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and examination papers.
  • Conduct student assessments and provide timely feedback.
  • Monitor students academic progress and provide academic counselling where necessary.
  • Participate in curriculum review and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake programme administration and academic-related duties.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, accreditation exercises, moderation, and examination boards.
  • Engage in research, scholarly activities, and professional development, where applicable.
  • Support student recruitment, marketing activities, and industry engagement initiatives.
  • Supervise student projects and other academic activities as assigned.
