Lecturer Early Childhood Education

SALARY RANGE: RM7,000-RM9,000

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate units within the Early Childhood Education program at the School of Design and Arts. The role requires contributions to curriculum innovation, research, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in early childhood pedagogy, curriculum development, and educational theories. Candidates with knowledge in special education, literacy development, or educational technology will be highly regarded.

Qualifications and Criteria:

• A PhD in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
• Experience in higher education teaching and research in early childhood education.
• Experience in supervising practicum students or working with early childhood teacher candidates during field placements.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories, curriculum frameworks, and early learning assessment.
• Research publications in early childhood education or related disciplines.
• Additional expertise in inclusive education, educational leadership, technology, play-based learning, or policy developments in early childhood education is an advantage.
