SEGi College Penang is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-centred individual to join our academic team as a Psychology Lecturer.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and academic support for psychology-related subjects.
- Prepare teaching materials, assessments, and learning activities aligned with programme learning outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor students in academic projects, assignments, and research activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum development, programme review, and quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to departmental activities, student engagement initiatives, and community outreach programmes.
- Engage in scholarly, research, and professional development activities.
- Support accreditation and regulatory requirements as required by the institution.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Psychology and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from a recognised institution.
- Strong knowledge in core areas of psychology, including but not limited to developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, research methods, and psychological assessment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.
- Fresh graduates with teaching potential are encouraged to apply; prior lecturing or industry experience will be an added advantage.
