With the endorsement of the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, Manipal International University underwent a name change to MILA University in 2023. As part of our mission to establish a premier institution in Asia, MILA University is actively seeking applications for teaching positions within the School of Management & Business.

We are particularly interested in candidates specializing in the following area:

• Marketing (Lecturer / Senior Lecturer)
• e-Commerce/Information System (Lecturer / Senior Lecturer)
• Logistics / Supply Chain Management (Lecturer / Senior Lecturer)
• Media & Mass Communications (Lecturer / Senior Lecturer)
• Business Analytics (Lecturer / Senior Lecturer)

We hope to find enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a strong record of professional practice, academic research, and/or enterprise activities in business management who can contribute to the growth of MILA University.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high quality teaching and learning activities in line with the strategy of the University.
• Provide timely student support and effective feedback to students to enhance the student experience and achievement.
• Provide pastoral guidance to students when appropriate.
• Contribute to the planning, design and development of subjects and programs in line with the strategy of the University.
• Participate in external and professional engagements that develop the enterprise activities of the University.
• Plan, organize and carry out research activities that support the strategy of the University.
• Secure appropriate funding to carry out a personal research plan.
• Work proactively with colleagues to achieve strategic outcomes of the University.
• Provide expert guidance and advice to colleagues within the university to resolve complex problems (for those appointed at least at Senior Lecturer level).
• Any other responsibilities entrusted by the University.

A. Essential Selection Criteria

An applicant must:

• Have a doctoral qualification or equivalent in the related field.
• Have relevant teaching experience.
• Have relevant research experience.
• Have successfully supervised at least one (1) doctoral student to the completion of doctoral qualification or equivalent.

Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor positions are available for applicants who are established leaders in their field. Applicants must exhibit strong records of teaching, research and/or enterprise activities.

B. Desirable Selection Criteria:

An applicant must :

• secure research grants.
• manage enterprise activities.

An applicant must have at least 3 years of academic working experience and possess experiences in MQA process.
