Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal and Compliance Executive at Bruhaas (M) Sdn Bhd a registered company from Malaysia. The role is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The Legal and Compliance Executive will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, utilizing strong interpersonal and analytical skills, effective communication, and legal expertise in managing the company's legal and compliance functions

• Draft, analyze, and review various legal agreements, contracts, and transactional documents.
• Identify contractual risks and liabilities, propose and negotiate modifications to minimize exposure while maximizing commercial and strategic advantages in line with business needs.
• Coordinate with Internal Compliance Teams, External Legal Counsel, and Regulatory Bodies on legal and regulatory compliance matters.
• Manage and oversee routine SEC filings to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise Company Secretaries and provide legal guidance to subsidiaries around the region
• Assist audit and finance teams in the preparation and review of annual and quarterly audits.
• Develop, review, and update company policies as assigned.
• Support and co-lead business projects in collaboration with relevant departments when required.
• Conduct legal research on specific laws, compliance issues, and business-related topics as assigned.
• Handle special projects, ad-hoc tasks, and additional duties as delegated by Management.
