Job Description
Contract & Agreement Support
- Assist in preparing, formatting, and organizing basic contracts, agreements, memorandums, and other legal documents under the guidance of Legal Counsel;
- Support the review process by conducting initial checks for completeness, accuracy, and required attachments;
- Help maintain and update the contract register and filing system for ease of tracking, renewal, and reference; and
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate document execution and follow-up activities.
Legal Research & Administrative Support
- Conduct preliminary research on laws, regulations, and industry practices as assigned;
- Assist in compiling information and preparing drafts of legal notes, summaries, or simple correspondence; and
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal Counsel including scheduling meetings, organizing files and managing internal documentation.
Dispute & Compliance Assistance
- Assist in gathering and organizing documentation related to disputes, claims, or notices;
- Support in preparing summaries and preliminary reports for internal use;
- Help monitor and track statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations to ensure timely compliance; and
- Coordinate with internal departments for information requested by external solicitors or authorities.
Policy & Documentation Management
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining internal policies, templates, and guidelines by ensuring updated versions are properly filed and circulated; and
- Support the implementation of corporate governance practices and internal control measures through documentation and administrative coordination.
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Handle document stamping, notarization arrangements, certifications, and proper filing of legal documents;
- Ensure confidentiality and responsible handling of all legal documents and correspondence; and
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by Legal Counsel.
Undertake any other duties or services that are aligned with the role of a Legal Assistant, as may be determined by the management from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- Fresh Graduatesencourgae to apply.
- Strong foundation in contract and commercial law.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management.
