You will assist ADA Group Legal to manage legal, privacy, compliance, corporate & contracting needs across 12 countries.
Role & Responsibilities:
A summary of your role is set out below:
- Contract lifecycle management (i.e. contract request, drafting & review, variations, approvals, execution, storage, retrieval & renewal or termination)
- Provide legal advice & drafting responses to various documents and contracts relating to Marketing & Advertising, Partnership & Reseller, Business Messaging Services, RFP/Tender Bids, NDAs, E-commerce, Warehousing & Logistics, Data Science & Analytics, SaaS & Cloud services, Data Processing Agreements, and due diligence requests.
- Assist with labour & employment-related matters.
- Play a crucial role in privacy governance across multiple countries.
- Explain, clarify & simplify complex technical & legal information.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- You will work closely with ADA Group Legal, Finance & Tax, Procurement, HR, Risk & Compliance, and Privacy teams.
- Provide training & seminars.
SkillSet:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of working experience with a recognised law degree is essential.
- Minimum 2 years practising experience in a prominent law firm.
- Knowledge of laws and work experience relating to Technology, Media and Telecommunications, SaaS & Cloud Licensing, Data & AI, E-commerce, Privacy, Mergers & Acquisitions will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet various deadlines.
- Meticulous writing and drafting skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex information.
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Canva & PowerPoint.
