What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or equivalent tertiary qualification (LLB preferred)
- At least 1-3 years of experience in legal research, professional services, compliance, case support, or research-focused environments
- Strong legal research and analytical skills with the ability to interpretcomplex information and identify suitable expert recommendations
- Experience reviewing case materials, analysing technical requirements, and conducting detailed research across industries or legal disciplines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior professionals and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of legal processes, litigation support, or professional services environments
- Ability to manage multiple research requests, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
- Highly organized with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, legal databases, research platforms, or sourcing tools is an advantage
- Exposure to global stakeholders, international case support, or cross-border collaboration is highly desirable
- Background knowledge in industries such as engineering, healthcare, finance, construction, or sciences is beneficial
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Deliver high-quality expert matches through in-depth research across legal disciplines, industries, and jurisdictions.
- Analyse case briefs to understand client needs, legal context, and technical criteria for expert engagement.
- Provide clients with clear and accurate expert profiles, including potential risks, credibility considerations, and commercial fit.
- Engage directly with potential experts to confirm suitability, availability, independence, and alignment with case requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with experts to ensure a reliable and responsive network.
- Collaborate closely with Account and Case Management teams to ensure smooth and timely expert matching and client delivery.
- Maintain an accurate internal expert database, including sourcing insights and potential risk notes.
- Monitor legal market trends, emerging fields, and adjacent disciplines to expand the expert network.
- Identify high-quality expert talent by developing innovative sourcing strategies beyond traditional channels.
- Manage multiple high-volume, fast-turnaround cases with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing to enhance sourcing effectiveness.
