Job Description:
Daily Linehaul Management
- Monitor end-to-end linehaul trips (inbound/outbound) to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.
- Track trip delays, vehicle breakdowns, and route deviations initiate timely escalation and recovery actions.
- Coordinate with insourced and outsourced fleet partners to ensure adequate truck and driver availability.
- Conduct performance reviews and enforce service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead investigations on operational incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time transporting performance (OTT), utilization, cost efficiency, and lost rates.
- Provide daily/weekly performance reports to management and propose data-driven improvement plans.
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and develop a team of linehaul supervisors and coordinators.
- Work closely with stakeholders - Planning, Sorting, First-Mile, and Last-Mile teams for seamless network operations.
- Drive continuous improvement projects for service reliability, cost optimization, and process standardization.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Logistic, Supply Chain or any equivalent disciplines.
- Experience in transport, supply chain and logistics management.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Good to have: proficiency in Mandarin.
- Quick learning, adaptive and flexible.
- Committed, result oriented, willing to go extra miles for goal achievement.
- Working pattern:45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required (up to 6 working days)
