Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Bangalore

Role Description

The Linux Kernel Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Linux kernel, ensuring system stability, performance, and security. Daily tasks include troubleshooting kernel-related issues, contributing to kernel development, and collaborating with other engineers on infrastructure improvements and optimizations. This role requires active participation in community forums and staying updated with the latest Linux kernel advancements.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Linux Kernel development
Experience with Linux System Administration and general System Administration
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues
Knowledge of infrastructure improvements and optimizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience contributing to open-source projects is a plus
